By accessing and browsing the GED IT Solutions website or by using and/or downloading any content from the same, you agree to and accept the Terms of Use as set forth below.
The purpose of this website is to provide information about GED IT Solutions, its structure and its services.
Despite its efforts to provide reliable content through this website, GED IT Solutions (‘the Company’)
cannot guarantee the accuracy, precision, timeliness or exhaustiveness of information posted on the site.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only and do not imply any approval or endorsement by the Company of the linked sites.
This website is protected by intellectual property rights and is the exclusive property of the Company.
Any dispute or claim arising out of or related to the Terms of Use shall be governed by Luxembourg law. Any legal action shall be taken in Luxembourg.
Cancellation or postponement (Calendar session)
You may cancel or postpone your registration free of charge with a written notice given more than 10 working days before the course starts. If your cancellation or postponement notice arrives 9 or less working days before the course starts, GED IT Solutions reserves its right to invoice 50% of the course price. If your cancellation or postponement notice arrives 5 or less working days before the course starts or the participant does not come for the course, GED IT Solutions reserves its right to invoice 100% of the course price. Cancellation/postponement must be received in writing and be acknowledged by GED IT Solutions. Replacement of a participant with another is free of charge (not for courses with certifications).
Cancellation or postponement (private session / on-demand session)
If the cancellation or postponement of a private session/on-demand session arrives 15 or less working days prior to the schedule start of the course, GED IT Solutions reserves its right to invoice 100% of the course price. Replacement of a participant with another is free of charge (not for courses with certifications).
Course postponed or cancelled
GED IT Solutions reserves its right to postpone or cancel a course when necessary, for instance when not enough participants are registered or due to force majeure events. We will endeavour to notify participants at least 5 working days in advance (except in cases of force majeure). In case of postponement, all participants will automatically be registered for the next session of the same course.
Service availability
The Company makes every effort to ensure that the Site is available, but cannot guarantee that the Site will be accessible at all times, or that there will be no disruptions or interruptions. The Company reserves the right to interrupt access to the Site at any time and without prior warning for technical or other reasons, or to terminate the services, unless otherwise contractually agreed. The Company cannot be held responsible for disruptions or interruptions, or for errors in electronic delivery, and these cannot give rise to refunds, price changes or other compensation, except in the case of intentional errors by the Company.
Access code
The Access Codes enable the Customer-User to identify him/herself and connect to the services subscribed to on the Site and are personal and confidential. They can be changed online via the Professional Area by the Customer User.
The Customer User is entirely responsible for the use of his or her Access Codes. In the absence of proof to the contrary, any connection to the Site or transmission of data using the Customer User’s Access Codes will be deemed to have been made by the Customer User.
Intellectual property rights
All texts, photographs, videos, drawings, images, computer graphics, slideshows, graphics, sounds, data, databases, software, names, trade names, domain names and all other elements of the Site are
protected by copyright and may also be subject to other protection.
None of these elements, nor the Site itself, nor the information provided on the Site may be stored
(other than for the purpose of viewing the Site), reproduced, modified, published, distributed, transmitted, sold, transferred to third parties or used in any way without the prior written consent of GED IT Solutions. Violation of these provisions constitutes an act of infringement and subjects the violator, and any person responsible, to criminal and civil penalties as provided by law. Unless otherwise agreed by separate contract, by transmitting text, photographs, drawings, graphics, images, sounds, data and other materials to the Site, any natural or legal person transfers all ownership of the aforementioned works, including intellectual property rights and copyrights, to GED IT Solutions and indemnifies it against all possible claims by third parties in this respect.
Websites not owned by GED IT Solutions may freely establish links to pages on the Site. The links always mention the name of the Site.
The use of logos requires the prior written consent of GED IT Solutions.
Limitation of liability
The Company endeavours to ensure that the information and communications are as accurate as possible, but can never guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the communications or information in its publications for any purpose and cannot be held responsible for them.
Nor is the Company responsible for any decision or action of the user based on the information or data provided or communications about users or third parties and is not responsible for errors or mistakes.
Nor is the Company liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss caused by the aforementioned inaccuracies, incomplete information, omissions, negligence, etc. ….
The Company is not responsible for the content published by its advertisers.
Responsibility for articles, information and photos lies with the author of the article, the provider of the information or the photographer.
The Company is under no circumstances liable for any temporary or permanent damage or defects caused to the User’s data or computer equipment as a result of using the Site. Nor is the Company responsible for the possible transmission of viruses via the Site.
